Murray Lee

I completed the PULSE HR application form only initially to pass time waiting in the fracture clinic with my 92 year old dad. I never thought anything would come of it and was surprised when contacted but after the “interview” I felt that I would really like to have a go and “give something back”.

I joined the station in December 2017 and present “Nearly the Weekend Show” on Friday nights.

I first started presenting music as a “DJ” at 15/16 years old, hosting discos at a youth club. I also did Edgware hospital radio when I was 17/18.

I came runner up in a youth DJ competition in 1972 judged by Alan (Fluff) Freeman who said I should go on a try to take it up professionally. Sadly that never happened and I ended up as an Estate Agent! (same “presentation thing” but with no music!)
